Renowned for its inventive Japanese fare, Perry's holds an enduring place in D.C.'s dynamic dining scene. Chef Morishita, who brings a bold reinterpretation of intimate Japanese cuisine to the restaurant, has garnered acclaim for her dishes — impressing both diners and critics alike. In 2023, she was named Eater DC’s Chef of the Year, and her work at Perry's earned her the prestigious James Beard Award for Best Emerging Chef in 2024.

Chefs Shinichiro Takagi and Billy Kong lead Bentoville’s culinary team, crafting exceptional cuisine that merges traditional and modern techniques. Chef Takagi transformed his family restaurant, Zeniya, into a two-Michelin-star destination, while Chef Kong has launched several acclaimed restaurants in San Francisco, including the Michelin-starred Kinjo.
